Overall verdict

Janie has a genuinely good website — clear positioning, real trust signals, and a services page most bookkeepers would envy — but she is invisible everywhere else. No social profiles, no Google Business Profile, and no reviews anywhere, all confirmed on re-check, and a handful of typos on the site itself. She does publish an email address in the footer of every page, a strength the first draft of this audit missed. The foundation is strong; the gaps are all fixable within a week, and the Google Business Profile alone would likely be her highest-ROI move.

Caution on lookalikes: "CORE Financial Svcs LLC" (LinkedIn) and CoreClarity.net (coaching facilitators) are different companies — similar names, unrelated to Janie's firm. Do not confuse them in any directory or marketing.

Recommendations — prioritized

  1. Fix the four typos today (Consulation → Consultation, Accoutns → Accounts, billign → billing, hirging → hiring). Ten minutes in Squarespace; a site selling accuracy can't have spelling errors.
  2. Claim a Google Business Profile and ask 5 clients for reviews. This is the single highest-ROI move: it's free, it puts her on the map literally, and reviews are the trust signal her site currently lacks most.
  3. Add a phone number, and surface the email on the Contact page. Her email already sits in the footer of every page; move it into the Contact page body as a clickable link, and add a phone number for the prospects who prefer to call.
  4. Start one social channel — LinkedIn. It's the natural fit for B2B bookkeeping. Complete the profile, then post twice a week: one practical tip, one client-win or insight. Repurpose the explanations already on her Services page.
  5. Collect 2–3 named testimonials (first name + industry is enough) and add them to the homepage. Ask right after a good client call — that's when yes-rate is highest.
  6. Add a pricing anchor — even "monthly plans starting at $X" or a description of engagement models. It pre-qualifies prospects and reduces tire-kicker calls.
  7. Once LinkedIn exists, link it in the site footer and add the Google review link to the post-engagement follow-up email.
